About us

Through RECALL: A Study of Common Memory and Central European History for Collective Remembrance, the partnership aims to achieve three objectives:

O1 – Strengthening of Central European identity through mapping, study and cataloguing CMCEH.

O2 – Enhancing knowledge of professors and students on the historical importance of CMCEH

O3 – Creating a Central European students network for the Collective remembrance

By identifying the common historical and cultural heritage sites of four Central European countries (Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland), the project wishes to emphasise the shared identity of the region, as well as to foster a sense of unity among Central European countries.

The project results will be:

  • 4 Maps of Common Historic Places
  • 1 Online Catalogue of the CMCEH
  • Joint set of virtual curricula structure, teaching, engagement and assessment methods
  • 1 Online micro-course of 12 modules on Common Memory and Central European History
  • Strengthened Central European identity of the academic staff, researchers, professors, students and other actors involved
in the project or dissemination activities
  • Collective remembrance network of students acting as local ambassadors of the project
  • Enhanced long-term academic cooperation among partners
  • Increased engagement of professors and students in course-development and academic excellence
  • Greater understanding of a student-centric approach in course-development
