The ReCall project team is moving full steam ahead with course development, content finalization, and video production. During our latest meeting, we aligned on critical deadlines and workflows to ensure smooth execution in the coming months.
The course development process will rely on close collaboration between national experts and coordinators. By February 16, 2025, experts will submit a one-page summary or bullet-point list of their topics in English, drawing inspiration from the project’s catalogue and map. These materials will serve as the foundation for coordinators, who will then craft two-page summaries integrating both a Central European perspective and their own national viewpoint. These drafts, due by March 7, 2025, will be reviewed by the project team before the Budapest meeting (March 13-16, 2025). This event will serve as a platform for finalizing coordinator texts, aligning content across teams, and preparing students to begin working on e-learning assignments.
With final text submissions scheduled for March 31, 2025, teams will translate materials into English with the help of proofreaders. The video recording phase will follow in late April and early May 2025, featuring 20-minute coordinator presentations—delivered either in English or in their native languages with professional voice-over recordings added later. Experts will record their 5-minute presentations in their native languages, with English subtitles to be added in post-production using AI tools, followed by a thorough review process.
The final review of all materials will take place in Brno at the end of May 2025 (tentatively May 29 – June 1, 2025), ensuring that everything is ready for the summer upload and the autumn pilot course. Meanwhile, students will play an active role in shaping e-learning components, suggesting exercises and test questions based on the recorded materials.
