On January 26, 2024, the RECALL project team held a pivotal virtual seminar to advance both the professional and technical aspects of the project. This meeting focused on reviewing administrative matters, discussing thematic content, and preparing for the upcoming Brno study visit in March 2024.
The seminar featured detailed presentations, discussions, and key decisions that will shape the project’s direction in the months ahead. Below is an overview of the main agenda items and outcomes.
- The seminar opened with a review of contracts and administrative issues to ensure compliance across all teams. Technical updates were provided on the development of the digital platform and the progress of the thematic maps.
- Each participant presented their proposed thematic topics for the project. During the argumentation phase, each presenter had two minutes to explain the significance of their topic. A reflection and feedback period followed, allowing for a five-minute discussion on each topic to evaluate its relevance and potential for inclusion in the project.
- A key discussion revolved around limiting the number of thematic topics to 15, ensuring the project remains focused and manageable. The team also agreed on the introduction of „topic managers” to oversee the development and consistency of specific themes, providing structure to the project’s thematic content.
- The seminar also addressed technical and logistical issues related to the upcoming Brno study visit, including travel arrangements and cost-sharing agreements. It was agreed that incoming participants would cover travel costs, while accommodation and catering would be managed by the hosting team.
Key decisions made:
- Limitation of Topics: A consensus was reached to limit the total number of topics to 15, ensuring coherence and depth across the project’s thematic maps.
- Assignment of Topic Managers: The team agreed to assign specific individuals as „topic managers” to ensure the development of each theme is thorough and consistent.
- Logistics for Brno Study Visit finalized: Travel arrangements and accommodation details for the Brno meeting in March 2024 were confirmed.
The virtual seminar was instrumental in aligning the team on critical issues and finalizing plans for the next phase of the project. These sessions continue to play a crucial role in facilitating detailed discussions on thematic content, technical development, and project management.
